The next destination is Ngorongoro Crater which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Last but not least Lake Manyara National Park, famous for it’s tree climbing lions and an abundance of beautiful birds. There’s a very high chance to spot the big 5 on this safari. The accommodations are set in luxury lodges and tented safari camps throughout the 7 days.

Serengeti NP

You have now entered one of the worlds most popular wild life spotting area! Here you have a huge amount of grass eating mamals along with great chances of spotting rare predators as chetahs, leopards etc. You are guaranteed to see Zebras, Elephants, Giraffes, Wilderbeasts, Lions etc.

Ngorongoro NP

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers 8,292 square kilometers. Approximately 25,000 large animals, mostly ungulates, live in the crater. Now classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Crater was formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed around 3 million years ago.

Lake Manyara NP

Lake Manyara is the seventh-largest lake of Tanzania by surface area, at 470-square-kilometre (180 sq mi). It is a shallow, alkaline lake in the Natron-Manyara-Balangida branch of the East African Rift in Manyara Region in Tanzania. This is a must for the one who loves wildlife at lakes.

Tanzanite

Tanzanite is the blue and violet variety of the mineral zoisite Tanzanite belongs to the epidote mineral group. Tanzanite is only found in Tanzania, in a very small mining area near the Mererani Hills.Tanzanite is noted for its remarkably strong trichroism, appearing alternately blue, violet and burgundy

 

Itinerary for this 7 day tour

 

Day 1: Arrive to Arusha, Tanzania.

Your BT&S Guide will meet you up at the airport and take you to your hotel.  Here you have dinner and get a briefing for coming adventure.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

Breakfast at the lodge, make your way to the center Fritidsgården to learn about many different sustainable projects. Have lunch at center with some of the staff and learn more. After lunch fly to the endless planes of Serengeti. pick up will be arranged and you’ll make your way to a beautiful Serengeti Migration Camp for dinner and a good nights rest.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Enjoy an early morning game drive. Make your way back to camp for a nice
fresh lunch. Relax during the heat of the day until the temperature starts to drop then start your late afternoon game drive. After sunset make your way back to camp for an amzing dinner.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

After Breakfast make your way out of the Serengeti. Enjoy a picnic lunch and go on a little hike to stretch your legs and view the planes that make Serengeti so wonderful. After the hike you’ll make your way to Ngorongoro Craters ledge and stay in a beautiful
lodge for some great views and good nights rest.

  

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Center

Enter the Ngorongoro Crater at sunrise to see the animals at their most active time. Have a picnic lunch near the hippo pond. After lunch slowly make your way out of the crater taking in all the beautiful views that the crater has to offer. In the later afternoon you’ll make your way to ayour amazing lodge for a well dereverd relaxing evening.

 

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park

Breakfast at the lodge and make your way into the Rift Valley. Once you make your way down the pass you’ll enter Lake Manyara National Park. Once you enter the park you’ll slowly make your way to a picnic ground for a great lunch. After lunch you will go on with your afternoon game drive. In the late afternoon you’ll be on your way to Arusha for your last nights.

 

Day 7: Tanzanite history 

Breakfast at the lodge and then you’ll make your way to a local village to learn about the way of life and a history of the symbol of Tanzania (Tanzanite).You will have the opportunity to purchase a special stone just for you. After the history lesson you’ll enjoy a fresh well cooked lunch and from there head to the airport for your flight home.​
