Tarangire NP

arangire National Park is a national park in Tanzania's Manyara Region. The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. The Tarangire River is the primary source of fresh water for wild animals in the Tarangire Ecosystem during the annual dry season

Ngorogoro NP

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area covers 8,292 square kilometers. Approximately 25,000 large animals, mostly ungulates, live in the crater. Now classed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Crater was formed when a giant volcano exploded and collapsed around 3 million years ago.

Serengeti NP

You have now entered one of the worlds most popular wild life spotting area! Here you have a huge amount of grass eating mamals along with great chances of spotting rare predators as chetahs, leopards etc. You are guaranteed to see Zebras, Elephants, Giraffes, Wilderbeasts, Lions etc.

Lake Natron

Lake Natron is a salt or soda lake in Arusha Region in Tanzania. It is in the Gregory Rift, which is the eastern branch of the East African Rift.The lake is within the Lake Natron Basin, a Ramsar Site wetland of international significance.The lake is a maximum of 57 kilometres (35 mi) long and 22 kilometres (14 mi) wide

 

Itinerary for this 12 day tour

 

Day 1 Arival Arusha

Your BT&S Guide will meet you up at the airport and transfer to your accommodation in Arusha town, At Arusha Plamet Lodge.  Here you have dinner and get a briefing for your whole Safari schedule the next coming days.

Day 2 Arusha  Materuni  Waterfalls

Early breakfast in the morning you will make your way to Kilimanjaro area for walking tour at materuni waterfalls for half day. You will be walking through the banana farms and coffee plantation as well as you will get the chance of learning and preparing coffee. You will be seeing the Kilimanjaro mountain very close by you but it depends with the weather. Visit some local chagga tribe in the area, taste their local brew made from ripe banana. Learn their culture etc. Late in the afternoon you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight

Day 3 Arusha - Arusha National Park

Only in Arusha Park you can go walking in the jungle and enjoy wildlife closely. Pick up in the morning from your overnight hotel then drive to Arusha national park. In the park you will do a walking Tour. The walking Tour is assisted by an armed ranger and you will be able to see a variety of wildlife closer. This is a national park so expect to see many animal very close by you but you should not fear as the guided armed ranger will be with you at all time.

Lunch is picnic at Jikukumia waterfalls. After lunch walk back to the gate and get into the jeep for game driving in the park visiting the 7 Momella lakes and Ngurdoto Crater. Later in the evening drive to planet lodge for dinner and overnight at lodge.

Day 4 Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Early breakfast then our driver will meet you at your hotel then pack your luggage's ready for your drive to Tarangire, crossing the Maasai Steppe on your way to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania's fourth largest and one of its most diverse. Full day game drive in the park enjoying viewing animals in the park. Soon, the impressive Great Rift Valley Escarpment will come into view – a 2,000 foot high wall that rises up, improbably steep and incredibly tall, out of the flat plains. Elephants, Buffalos, pythons are seen easily regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines.

You'll meander along bush tracks and explore the Tarangire River's twists and turns, finding elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. Late this afternoon you'll arrive at your lodge where you can settle in and relax before dinner and your first night in the bush. Dinner and overnight at simba tented camp.

Day 5 Tarangire - Lake Manyara National Park

Early breakfast before you drive drive in Lake manyara national park. Lake Manyara National Park which is among Tanzania's smallest park. Drive through the lush garden is a gentle reminder that you are now in Africa. Exotic birdcalls fill the air. Enjoy a picnic lunch and afterwards you'll continue game viewing of animals in the park. Zebra, wildebeest, bushbuck, dik-dik and guinea fowl regularly cross your path, unbothered by your benign presence and going about their daily routines.

You'll meander along bush tracks and explore the Lake which is home of thousand of Flamingos and River's twists and turns, finding elephant drinking and playing in the refreshing waters. More game till lunch time and after lunch you will drive our of the Park for a cultural and walking tour at Mto wa mbu village. In the evening if time allows you can enjoy a hike up through rift valley escarpment wall before you drive to karatu for dinner and overnight. Dinner and overnight at acacia farm lodge.

Day 6 Drive to Lake Eyasi basin for a full-day cultural tour with Datoga and hadzabe

In the morning after an early breakfast, you will make your way to Lake eyasi bushmen's village for cultural interaction with the Datoga tribe and hunting expedition with the bushmen (Hadzabe) (a very interesting tribe). Our Datoga guide at the village will lead the tour.

In the evening you will drive back to Karatu for dinner and overnight. The Hadza, or Hadzabe, are an indigenous ethnic group in north-central Tanzania, living around Lake Eyasi in the central Rift Valley and in the neighboring Serengeti Plateau

Day 7 Karatu - Lake Natron

After earlier morning breakfast departure with lunch boxes to the Lake Natron, Visit a small crater on the way and enjoy the view of Mountain Oldoinyo Lengai then proceed to Lengai Safari Lodge for check-in then later visit the lake Natron for Sunset with Drinks, Before driving back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Lake Natron is a mineral-rich soda lake in northern Tanzania, at the border with Kenya. It's a breeding ground for hundreds of thousands of lesser flamingos, despite the highly alkaline state of the striking red waters. It sits below Ol Doinyo Lengai, a soaring active volcano in the Rift Valley.

Day 8 Lake Natron

Enjoy your breakfast at the Hotel then departure for the working with Masai Guide around the Lake Natron and visit the Foots Prints of Hominids nearly 3 Milion years ago, Return back to the hotel for hot lunch, Enjoy your afternoon there then around 3'00pm Departs again with your Local Guide to the waterfall enjoy your day there then later return back to the hotel for dinner and overnight at Lengai Safari Lodge

Day 9 Lake Natron - Serengeti National Park

After earlier morning breakfast departure with Lunchboxes to Serengeti national park, Game en route then proceed to Tanzania Tented Bush Camp for Dinner and Overnight

Day 10 Full Game Driving in Serengeti National park

After breakfast, you depart for a game drive in the central part of the Serengeti. This part is famous for the abundance of lions and leopards that can usually be seen quite easily. Game viewing in this central area is spectacular all year round. Enjoy the views of endless plains and stunning wildlife like cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, hippos, ostrich, pangolin and many more. Dinner and overnight will be at Serengeti Tanzania Bushcamp. This camp is the perfect blend of old African charm and elegance in the heart of Serengeti National Park, Dinner and overnight at Tanzania Bush Camp

Day 11: Serengeti National park - Ngorongoro Conservation area Crater.

After breakfast with your boxes lunch Departure for a game driving in central Serengeti pass to Oldveai Gorge before driving to Ngorongoro Conservation area at Tortilis Tented camp for Dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Ngorongoro Conservation area Crater to Arusha.

After breakfast with your picnic lunch drive to Ngorongoro Crater, you will explore the famous  Ngorongoro Crater during a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the wonders of the world.  It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species. With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Before driving back to Arusha at Karama Lodge for dinner and Overnight
